We are building partnerships within the Los Angeles community. Our community outreach efforts are ensuring that we have full support from the community where the monument is ultimately placed.

Our project must be a reflection of the importance of the contributions Dr. King made. The monument site will be on par with others around the country and will meet the aesthetic expectations of the King family and Los Angeles community.

The Hall of Heroes foundation will be installing memorials honoring chosen leaders such as Dr. Martin Luther King based upon the content of
their character and undeniable contributions to the Los Angeles community and the nation as a whole. These hero monuments will be placed in locally relevant areas of the city, ultimately creating a sense of pride and landscape beautification.

The foundation will be supporting scholarship efforts within the monument’s immediate community. The foundation will transition to these scholarship outreach efforts following the completion of the Phase 1 project.
